La Valette’s annual MALTAFEST is here, celebrating the traditional Maltese folk festival L-Imnarja! Join us on SUNDAY 28 JUNE from 9am for a whole day of entertainment!
We have a markets stalls, and arts and crafts exhibitors running the whole day. There are lots of info booths and community groups showcasing their work and activities supporting the Maltese community.
Get your fix of your favourite Maltese meals!
From 10am we start the entertainment with the hugely popular children’s Maltese musical Journey to Treasure Island. Our line-up of entertainment also includes the BUGS – Blaxland Ukulele Group, traditional Maltese għana and makjetti folk music, the Maltese Community Choir, and the Maltese Concert Band playing Maltese marches, classics and contemporary hits.
There are games and attractions for the kids and the whole family!
