Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of La Valette Social Centre

shall be held on FRIDAY 28 NOVEMBER, 2025 at 7.00pm

Nominations for the following positions: President; Vice President; Secretary; Assistant Secretary; Treasurer; Assistant Treasurer; and Committee Members must be received by the Secretary no later than 7.00pm on FRIDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2025.

Nominations for the election of officers and other members of the committee shall be in writing and signed by two financial members of La Valette Social Centre Inc. The written consent thereof of the persons so nominated shall be subscribed thereunder (sec:35)(A).

Appointment of Proxy votes duly completed are to be received by the Secretary not later than 7.00pm on SATURDAY 22 November 2025.

Completed Nomination and Proxy forms should be emailed to or left at the Centre by the above dates.

Agenda for the Annual General Meeting

• To confirm the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
• To receive from the committee reports on the activities of the Association during the last financial year.
• To receive the Financial Report
• To elect the office bearers and committee members for 2025/2026
• To deal with any other business for which due notice had been given

Please note:

• Nominations from the floor to fill a position would only be accepted if the written nominations are not received for that position.
• A member may not hold more than one Proxy.
• To be eligible to stand for a position on the committee, a member must have been a financial member for not less than two years.
